Job title: Senior Bid Writer/ Bid Manager

Location: North West although is fully remote

Salary: Circa £50k - £60k plus great benefits

We are partnered with a highly regarding Property Maintenance contractor with a long and trusted history of helping organisations including Housing Associations, Local Government and Private Developers with a range of property maintenance and construction solutions around the UK.

 

Overview of role:

  • Support the new business tender process by contributing to strong proposals, which are critical to driving the business forward
  • Writing high quality bid responses
  • Reviewing submissions
  • Improving their library of bid collateral in order to drive their work winning process on must win pursuits across business development by supporting and coordinating work winning and social value initiatives
  • Manage a small team of Bid Writers

Requirement:

  • Degree Level Education (desirable)
  • Construction, Facilities Management or Property Services background (strongly desirable)
  • Demonstrated track record and experience of successfully being involved in supporting and delivering winning bids, from early inception and client information     capture, through stages, client interviews, feedback and lessons learnt
  • Experience using common procurement portals
  • Experience and skills in using ICT (predominately Microsoft Office suite)
  • Experience of writing successful property services/ construction bids (desirable)
  • Experience of creative writing (desirable)
  • Commercial awareness

Remuneration:

  • Basic salary which is negotiable for the right person
